St Brigid’s College is a Catholic College providing co-education from Kindergarten to Year 7 and girls only Day and Boarding facilities from Year 8 - 12. Successful applicants will be expected to fully support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education and the College.

Applicants should read the Employment Collection Notice, download the appropriate duty statement for the position and complete the Application Form. All applicants are advised to address the relevant selection criteria or competencies in their applications. If they do not demonstrate that they meet the essential criteria, they may not be short listed for an interview. Applications, including a completed application form, a maximum 4 page current resume and the names of three referees, should be forwarded to the Principal by the advertised closing date.

Teachers who have a valid TRBWA registration number will not require a Working with Children Check (WWC) until your registrations expire. They will then be required to apply for a WWC as part of the TRBWA renewal process.

Unless legislation is amended in the interim this will mean that a teacher renewing their registration or applying to TRBWA for registration for the first time will require a WWC in addition to the National Criminal History Record Check (CRIMTRAC Check).

Non Teaching staff employed in 2007 who are moving between Catholic schools as at 1st January 2007 and/or who are commencing employment in 2007 in the Catholic system for the first time WILL require a WWC before commencing employment. Again, unless legislation is amended in the interm this will mean that Non Teaching will also require a valid CRIMTRAC 100 POINTS police clearance.

The only exemption for Non Teaching staff would be cleaners who work outside school hours, handymen repairers.  However a valid CRIMTRAC clearance is still required in these circumstances.

A current Consent form for a National Criminal History Record Check, obtained through the Department of Education and Training, must also be included with the completed application form.
